Update: 1 Year Anniversary
Psalm 34
I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.
It’s been one year, as of 5 days ago, that I arrived in Kansas City! Can you believe it?! I’m in awe and wonder of all that God has done in and with me in that year. The greatest year of challenge and beauty.
Obedience to our heavenly Father is the most beautiful, holy and pure life we can imagine.
NEWS:
Here’s the news! I’m currently in the process of joining the missionary staff here at the base (IHOPKC) in a worship team role. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
BEING AN INTERCESSOR MISSIONARY means I am devoting myself to prayer with worship as an occupation. Prayer is the frontlines of the spiritual war we’re in, and I’m now praying in agreement with God in a concentrated way six days a week. It’s a serious joy :)
I’ve led a couple of devotional sets here at the prayer room over the past few weeks. This week, I’ll be leading devo sets: tomorrow (Wednesday, June 28th) at 12pm Central Time and again Saturday, July 1st at 3pm Central Time. You can catch it on the Ihopkc Youtube channel, The Unceasing Worship App or the Ihopkc website.
I am increasingly thankful and happy to be called into this by the Lord. To pray His word and to pray for people I know and love is such a privilege.
When I was in the hospital in the fall, my life in the balance, I had a couple of moments where I experienced the Lord Jesus in a very vivid way. He told me “I’m strengthening your body, and when you return, strengthen your brethren.”
My mission from the Lord is clear: Strengthen my brethren.
HOW WILL I DO THAT? Prayer, first and foremost - always.
Also, He reminded me of the treasures He’s given me that are to be stewarded and shared: songwriting and recording music with the message of His word and heart, writing books with a message of Truth, missions to the Mediterranean Rim (which came as the fulfillment of a 10 year old dream the week I arrived here in KC) and leading worship.
It’s enough to keep me occupied for a lifetime.
HOW CAN WE PARTNER?
To fully obey Him, I am seeking partnership. It is by His grace that I have faithful financial and prayer partners, for whom I am so grateful! If you think He may be nudging your heart to join me in this, I encourage you to pray and ask Him. If He says yes, ask Him how and how much.
Partnership is not one sided. I am praying for you. And the seeds that bear fruit of the Lord in my life are also accounted to you as a fragrant offering before Him. Philippians 4:17-19
I could provide a giving link, as I have in the past, but I decided not to do that. If you’d like to partner with me, I invite you to contact me directly. Send me an email, call me or shoot me a text. I’d love to hear from you. And if it’s through prayer you’d like to partner with me, I would be so grateful for that as well.
In gratefulness and joy,
Staci
